Masaryk University: impressive facilities

Last weekend, the DEM team visited the Masaryk University un Brno, Czech Republic.

It was a very satisfactory visit; we could see the impressive facilities of the Faculty, which cannot be found in any other European campus. The Bohunice Campus, built in 2010, is the pride of the University, and DEM could guess why. The University Hospital is also equipped with the latest technology.

Moreover, the visit was also useful to get first-hand feedback from our international students in Brno, and it was really positve. All our international students are passing their exams without any problem. All of them agreed in three key points for this academic success:

  1. Facilities and teachers:  The impressive facilities of the University and the use of individual study materials help to a great extent to receive a high-level teaching. All the students benefit from the effort made by the University concerning facilities and materials. Moreover, the professors are highly qualified, since they regularly attend continuing training programs in renowned organizations and international universities.
  2. Management of exam dates: During the exam period, the students can arrange their own schedule, placing their exams on the date which they consider to be the most appropriate. This freedom is very appreciated by the students.
  3. Small study groups: Groups of 8 – 12 students per class.

During the visit, we also settled all the details about the admissions for the following academic year, so DEM can undoubtedly affirm that Masaryk University is one of the best options that medical students can find.
