President of Cyprus Praises the Top Quality of the EUC

Nikos Anastasiades, president of Cyprus, has recently visited the EUC for the Advisory Board Meeting of the Medical School and has spoken of the top quality of the EUC in high terms – and above all about the medical faculty – in Nikosia.

Anastasiades showed his great support and appreciation for the top-quality work accomplished at the EUC, during the meeting. He also expressed that he is very proud that: “a private initiative has created such a high caliber Center of Excellence which constitutes an honor for Cyprus”. Praising the top quality of the EUC, he also mentioned the CEO Dr. Christoforos Hadjikyprianou, rector Dr. Kostas Gouliamos and the academic community and thanked them individually for their “truly remarkable results and initiatives”. He especially targeted at praising the excellent quality of the Medical School, which attracts many international students from all over the world, especially from Spain, Germany, Austria, Great Britain and Ireland. Furthermore Anastasiades pointed out: “These are the scientists of tomorrow who shall become Cyprus’ best ambassadors when they return to their countries”.

At the end of the meeting rector of the university, Dr. Kostas Gouliamos, pointed out the great „QS Stars University Ranking” of the EUC, where it got 4 out of 5 stars and is therefore one of the best ranked universities.
